The purpose of an Industry Mixer is to provide networking and development opportunities for members of the Michigan music community.
Join us for a brief presentation from Executive Director Nicholas Thomasma about membership in the Michigan Music Alliance followed by an open conversation on the music industry. Topics may include anything from upcoming releases to new technology, people looking for musicians for projects, as well as current obstacles in the music industry and solutions to overcoming common problems. Spread the Music Festival was a virtual music festival held March 26-29th, 2020 on the Michigan Music Alliance Facebook page to raise awareness and funds for the Michigan Artist Relief Fund. We had over 40 artists volunteer to play in the 4 day event, which raised over $11,500.
