UPDATE: Michigan Artist Relief Fund

Updated: Aug 27, 2020

We want to say thank you. We launched the Michigan Artist Relief Fund on March 16th, 2020 to raise funds for Michigan artists whose incomes were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. With your help, we raised over $30,000 and directly assisted 94 Michigan artists. This diverse group was from all over the state, different genres, and every stage of their music career.

As of May 15th, 2020, the Michigan Artist Relief Fund is no longer accepting applicants for emergency relief due to the COVID-19 crisis. We hope that the efforts the State of Michigan has made to open unemployment benefits to gig workers has elevated some of the crisis as artists adjust to the new normal.

We will continue to welcome donations via our PayPal or website beyond May 15th as we retool the fund to service Michigan artists who are dealing with a health crisis, or other family emergency that is impacting their ability to cover basic expenses. We are hoping this becomes a permanent resource for our community. More information about this version of the fund will be posted in the coming weeks.

We want to say thank you to the donors, companies, artists, and media who helped make this project a success. You can read more about the fund here

Our community is stronger than ever. Thank you!
